Magazine: Vogue Month: April Year: 2014


My inspiration came from listening to Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven and Clair de Lune by Claude Debussy. Since both pieces are titled with the word moonlight, Clair de Lune is french for moonlight, I took inspiration from the night. The juxtaposition between the darkness of the night and the brightness of the moon, and how darkness and light can coexist are the main focus of my inspiration.
